A well-established law firm in the Nashville area is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate / Real Estate Legal Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain exposure to various aspects of real estate law while providing essential support to attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong legal administrative experience, particularly in real estate transactions, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation, drafting, and review of real estate documents including purchase agreements, leases, title documents, and closing paperwork.
- Coordinate with clients, title companies, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Manage and maintain client files, ensuring all documents are organized and up to date.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other governmental entities.
- Schedule meetings, closings, and other related appointments.
- Communicate with clients regarding status updates and required documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist with drafting and filing of real estate-related motions and petitions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant, with a strong background in real estate law.
- Knowledge of real estate transactions, contracts, and title procedures.
- Familiarity with relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Clio, or similar legal management platforms).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent education preferred but not required.
Compensation: Up to $85k annually depending on experience.
